This video allegedly portrays world air traffic over a 24 hour period, condensed down to a couple of minutes. The time-lapse technique highlights the alarming air traffic saturation of North America and Europe while South America, Africa, parts of Asia, etc. exhibit only a fraction of the large aircraft flights. Imbalance is evident, and a whole parade of concerns could be drawn, but its mesmerizing beauty shouldn't be overlooked.
