St. Augustine, located in
Florida known as COSA. In 1565, Don Pedro Menendes de Aviles saw the coast of
Florida from his ship and landed with a Spanish flag in hand. On September 8,
St. Augustine was founded.
Today, one can visit its
Colonial Spanish Quarter in the old narrow streets to get a sense of the Spanish influence. See what this diverse city has to offer! Aside from the Spanish influence you will also find a tad of the English, Greek and Minorcan, Native American and African American influences.
